From the North:

I-97 S towards Annapolis

MD-665 exit toward Aris T Allen Blvd/Riva Rd

Exit onto MD-2 S/Solomons Island Rd toward Edgewater

Left at Central Ave/MD-214 E

Right at Muddy Creek Rd/Rt 468

Left at Galesville Rd/Rt 255

From the South:

Capital Beltway/I-495 E/I-95 N over Wilson Bridge

Exit 11-A MD-4 South/East/Penn Ave towards Upper Marlboro

Take the MD-408 E exit toward Waysons Corner/Annapolis

Bear left at MD-408 (light at Waysons Corner)

At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto MD-2/Solomons Island Rd

Turn right at MD-255/Owensville Rd towards Galesville

From Washington DC:

US-50 E toward Annapolis

Take exit 16 to merge onto Davidsonville Rd/MD-424 S toward Davidsonville

Turn right at MD-2/Solomons Island Rd

Left at MD-255/Owensville Rd towards Galesville

Parking:

Park at the Carrie Weedon Science Center. Ride your bike to the pier at the end of Main St. Check in, enter the raffle and silent auction, and get something to eat before starting.

Rules:

No roadways will be closed off for this event. Ride4Melanoma Cyclists are to OBEY ALL TRAFFIC RULES (Municipal Police and Emergency Personnel will be notified of your presence).

Many of the roads you will be on will be narrow therefore cyclists should ride single file and no more than two abreast when appropriate, IT’S THE LAW.
